Conservation Mission

The collaboration between myself, the team and Tarsier Centre Indonesia embarks on an ambitious and meaningful journey to advocate for endemic wildlife conservation in Southeast Asia. Our research work begins 2 years ago with the study on the majestic Sambar deer, found in the lush forests of Singapore and Indonesia.

As my research work progresses, we extend our efforts to support other endemic species threatened in the region through our own private sponsorship and hard work on preserving biodiversity.

In a monumental development, together with Tarsier Centre Indonesia, we formed a partnership with well-known researchers to expand our focus to the captivating world of primates. Under the leadership and expert guidance of Dr. Priscillia Miard and the passionate program director Puan Nenny Babao, we launch a groundbreaking three-year program centered on the enigmatic Tarsiers, the enchanting Slow Lorises, and the elusive langurs of Bangka Belitung. This collaborative endeavor brings together the brilliant minds from Tarsius Center Indonesia, Sabah University and Bangka University, fostering a dynamic exchange of knowledge and resources. As May 2025 arrives, we mark a grand milestone with the official commencement of this ambitious project. Conservation groups from across Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore unite in a shared vision, pooling their expertise and dedication to make a substantial, lasting impact on wildlife preservation in the region.
Together, we stand at the forefront of a transformative movement, working tirelessly to protect these precious species and ensure their thriving existence for generations to come.
